Joseph Mallord William Turner

Joseph Mallord William Turner (1775-1851) was an English Romantic painter and one of the most important landscape artists of his time. Turner's work captured the sublime beauty and power of nature, often depicting dramatic seascapes and stormy skies with vivid colors and dynamic compositions. His use of light and atmosphere was particularly innovative, and his paintings often had a dreamlike quality that was both atmospheric and poetic.
